I fell in love with photography while exploring its convergence with my two other major interests, architecture and sculpture. This is an exploration that I pursue to this day.

In my wedding photography work, I balance formal spatial composition with the energy and intimacy of photojournalism, thus capturing the event through the eyes of a candid participant rather than from a detached perspective. When working on an intimate portrait, a pregnant woman or a newborn baby, I bring my background in sculpture into play. There, while attentive to the subject's specific wishes, it is with light and texture that I seek to express its inherent beauty.

A native of Belgium, I lived and worked in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the US. After graduating from Pratt Institute in New York, I practiced architecture for some years before devoting my career to photography. Over the course of the next 14 years, my artistic and commercial assignments took me across the US and worldwide. I am currently working on the publication of a book of portraits and wedding photography.
